Vision Conservatory Roofs carried out a complete conservatory upgrade at a home in Bexhill, replacing the existing roof and windows to create a brighter and more comfortable living space.
The new tiled roof gives the conservatory a more permanent appearance from the outside, while the gable-fronted design keeps a generous glazed area at the front of the room. Inside, the project was completed with a new ceiling, recessed lighting and redecoration.
From the initial quotation through to the final finish, the work was coordinated by the Vision team and completed within five days.
The homeowner wanted to get more use from their conservatory without losing the daylight that made the room appealing in the first place.
Previously, the room felt too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. The goal was to improve the roof and glazing, update the interior and create an extra room that felt more dependable for everyday use.
The project also needed to include the finishing work, rather than leaving the homeowner to arrange separate trades once the roof had been fitted.
The existing lean-to-style conservatory roof was removed and replaced with a new gable-fronted solid tiled roof. Rather than simply updating the previous roof, the project changed the overall shape and profile of the conservatory
Creating the new glazed gable helped bring a more striking shape to the conservatory while allowing plenty of daylight into the room. The finished roof gives the structure a more substantial, tailored appearance from the outside.
New conservatory windows were fitted as part of the same project, updating the glazing and completing the external refurbishment. Inside, the new ceiling was fitted and finished with recessed spotlights. Plastering, electrical work, painting and decoration were all completed by Vision. With the entire project completed within 5 days.
Location: Bexhill
Project type: Gable conservatory roof and window replacement
New roof: Solid tiled conservatory roof with slate-effect tiles
Additional work: Replacement conservatory windows, plastering, electrical work, decoration and recessed spotlights
Duration: 5 days

The completed conservatory is now usable throughout the year and gives a stylish, modern apperance.
Externally, the new gable-fronted tiled roof gives the conservatory a smart, substantial finish that complements the property. The large glazed gable continues to bring valuable natural light into the space. Inside, the new ceiling, spotlights and decorative finish have helped turn the conservatory into a bright and inviting extra room for the home.
“We couldn't be happier with our new conservatory roof & windows, I now have a beautiful extra room thats not a sauna or ice cave. From the initial meeting for Adam to quote to Charlotte doing her thing in the office, Vision was a pleasure to work with. Everyone we met (plasterers/electrician/painter were all friendly, helpful, timely & informative. But of course, special mention needs to go out to Sam & Cody who worked so hard to complete within 5 days. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Whilst the quality of work speaks for itself, the fact that they spoke to me, rather than directing queries to my husband speaks volumes about their customer service! Thank you to everyone involved.”
