Vision Conservatory Roofs completed this conservatory roof replacement project in East Sussex, transforming an existing conservatory into a brighter, more comfortable and more practical living space.
The project was completed over 5 days, with the existing conservatory upgraded using a lightweight tiled roof system, rooflights and a clean internal plastered finish. The finished result gives the room a more permanent, extension-like feel while still allowing plenty of natural light into the space.
The homeowner wanted to improve the usability and appearance of their existing conservatory. Like many older conservatories, the room had the potential to be a fantastic living area but needed a roof upgrade to make it feel more comfortable and suitable for everyday use.
The goal was to retain the bright, garden-facing feel of the conservatory while creating a more insulated and modern space that could be enjoyed more regularly throughout the year.
Vision Conservatory Roofs replaced the existing conservatory roof with a modern lightweight tiled roof system. The project was completed in 5 days, with all work carried out in-house by the Vision Conservatory Roofs team.
The conservatory was finished with Vision’s solid roof system using Tapco Tiles, giving the exterior a smart, modern appearance that complements the existing property. Rooflights were also installed to help retain plenty of natural daylight and keep the room feeling bright and open.
Internally, the team completed the space with a smooth plastered ceiling, internal painting and new flooring. This helped turn the conservatory into a fully finished living area that feels much more like a natural extension of the home.

In just 5 days, this East Sussex conservatory was transformed into a more practical and attractive room.
The new roof gives the space a much more substantial feel, helping it sit naturally alongside the rest of the home. Inside, the plastered ceiling and rooflights create a bright, clean and welcoming environment, making the conservatory feel less like a seasonal add-on and more like a true extension of the property.
The finished project is a great example of how a replacement conservatory roof can dramatically improve the look and feel of an existing conservatory without losing the natural light that homeowners value.
