Project Overview

We recently completed this full conservatory roof transformation for this terrace home in Sidcup. Replacing the existing polycarbonate roof with a much more attractive and practical solid roof system.

The project included the removal of the old roof, a full roof conversion, new external fascias and guttering, internal decorations and new lighting. The result is a smarter, more comfortable conservatory that looks and feels much more like a natural part of the home.

Originally quoted as a 5-day installation, the work was completed in just 4 days by Craig and Bailey, while maintaining a clean and tidy working area throughout.

The Brief

The homeowner wanted to upgrade their existing conservatory and move away from the old polycarbonate roof, which no longer offered the level of comfort or finish they were looking for.

Like many older conservatories, the original roof limited how comfortable the room felt in changing weather conditions. The aim was to create a room that felt more like a natural extension of the home, while improving the external appearance of the conservatory from the garden.

The customer also wanted the work completed to a high standard, with the full roof conversion, internal finish, lighting, fascias and guttering all handled as part of one complete project.

The Work Carried Out

We removed the existing polycarbonate roof before carrying out a full roof conversion.

The new solid roof system was installed and finished externally with a tiled appearance, giving the conservatory a much smarter and more modern look. New fascias and guttering were also fitted to complete the exterior and ensure the roofline looked clean and well finished.

Internally, the team completed the decoration work and installed new lighting, helping to transform the conservatory into a bright, comfortable and practical room.

The project was originally quoted for 5 days, but Craig and Bailey completed the full transformation in just 4 days, while keeping the area clean and tidy throughout the installation.
